Bikey Venky

Bikey Venky claims he was 20kgs overweight and was struggling with asthma when he finally started realising the importance of exercise. In the first eight months he lost 16 kgs with cycling and realised he could do much more. He signed up for tour of Nilgiris in 2011, for which he trained rigorously, lost another 10 kgs. and managed to finish at top 10 with a fixed gear bike. He participated and excelled in other races and soon he realised his passion was to help other people succeed as well.
He began creating more ventures for other cyclists to become more powerful and efficient on the bike. From the year 2013 to now, he has dedicated his time to help others and create an environment for working athletes like himself to share their journeys who manage to pursue a sport while working to make a living. He is now on the advisory panel of Indian Oil Race Across India.

Dr. Hitendra Mahajan

Dr. Hitendra Mahajan is a Cheif Anesthesiologist at Ashoka Medicover Hospital, Nashik. Amongst his
many personal accolades, one that stands out the most is his massive win, along with his brother
Mahendra, being the first Indian duo to complete Race Across America in 8 days 11 hours.
Along with his brother, he has also accomplished

Climbing Mount Everest under “Sea to Sky” Mission which comprised Cycling from Mumbai
to Kathmandu, trekking, and mountaineering all the way to the top of Mt. Everest.
Cycling across the Golden Quadrilateral in 10 days 19 hours. He has received acknowledgment awards from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Government of Maharashtra for his achievements. He is now on the advisory panel of the Indian Oil Race Across India.

Marc Poland

Retired after 30 years with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in late years as Sr. VP responsible for all commercial business. He is active in ultra-cycling since 2008 as a competitor, event organizer, record official, and record holder. RAAM finisher (4X relay) in 2016, three-time North American age group champion in 12hr event (2017, 2018, 2022), overall champion in 6hr event (2019). He is a world record holder for 60+ at 100km time trial distance. WUCA Board of Directors member since 2017, Treasurer in 2018, and President since 2019, Crew Chief and Team Captain for several multi-day solo and team races, including course record performances, and advisor to Race Organizers for multiple North American Championship events. He is now on the advisory panel of Indian Oil Race Across India.

Dr. Meera Velankar

Dr. Meera Velankar, a mother of two kids, has a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and a seasoned endurance athlete. Meera has been cycling for more than ten years now. Among her many personal accolades in Ultracycling, she has passionately completed a ride from Agra to Umlingla , the highest motorable pass on a Tandem bike, and holds Guinness and WUCA records for the same. She is the finisher of
Ironman 70.3, earned Super Randonneur norm thrice, completed Kashmir to Kanyakumari – 3846 kms ride in 18 days, completed Golden Quadrilateral -6263kms in 42 days on tandem bike and has finished a ride from east to west of the country -3800kms on a road bike under 30 days.
She is now on the Advisory panel of Indian Oil Race Across India.

Yogindar Singh Yogi

Yogindar Singh Yogi is a very enthusiastic Ultracyclist. He is a finisher of Manali – Leh – KhardunglaLeh, earned multiple Super Randonneur titles in the last 11 years, and participated in Paris – Brest – Paris – 2019. He has also organised Air India Cyclothon in the year 2017 & 2018 in various Metro cities, Organised & participated in Tour de Kalinga, Tour de Odisha and Chattisgarh, Char Dham Yatra, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath and many more. He has received numerous awards for his contribution to the cycling community in India.
He is now on the advisory panel of Indian Oil Race Across India.
