The very next year in 2017, Vivitt became the Crew Chief for Amit at RAAM 2017 where Amit became the first Indian in his first attempt to finish this race in 37 years of RAAM history. Vivitt then went on to become a crucial part in all of the rides and world records created by Dr. Amit Samarth. Having seen the toughness of this sport, learning the tricks of the trade, and how a long-distance race actually functions, he is the Race Director at Race Across India. With profound experience, he was enroute with all the riders, making sure the race was followed with WUCA Standards which ultimately elevated this race to a professional level Ultracycling championship.
